The Sheepadoodle is a cross between an Old English Sheepdog and a Poodle. Sheepadoodles are very loving, and highly intelligent, and make wonderful family dogs. They require a moderate amount of exercise and stimulation, as the Old English Sheepdog (OES) is a "working dog" and enjoys stimulation. Sheepadoodles have a very hypoallergenic coat that can range from soft wavy to soft curly fleece and are an excellent choice for allergy sufferers.
Both Sheepadoodles and OES are born black and white and will typically turn to silver and white as their adult coat comes in. Like their doodle cousins, sheepadoodles are eager to please, easy to train, intelligent, and love children. Sheepadoodles may just be the new best doodle puppy for you!
OUR sheepadoodle SIZES AND GENERATIONS
F1- Cross of the Poodle & the Old English Sheepdog. The F1 will have a wavy/curly coat with little to no shedding.
F1B- Cross of the Sheepadoodle back to the Poodle. The F1B will have a curlier coat that is non-shedding. They are a good choice for people with above normal allergies in the family.
Standard- 50 lbs and up.
Mini- 25-35 lbs.
These are general size guidelines- due to the complexity of genetics, we cannot guarantee size or weight.

We found our mini Sheepadoodle, Beckett, from Best Doodle Puppy in Nov. 2022. He was 8 wks old. We immediately fell in love!! Beckett is so smart, healthy, happy, very social and absolutely adorable. He potty trained quickly, and started sleeping all night within the first week we had him. We have him enrolled in puppy school at 14 weeks and he is already sitting, staying, following commands to not jump, etc. Joe was great to work with-very responsive. We live in Maine but I am originally from Indiana. We searched far and wide for the right breeder. We loved the 100 acre farm environment and the socialization of the puppies with Joe’s family. We adopted Piper at 9 weeks old. She is now just about 7 months old and is a sweetheart! She’s our little shadow. Definitely would like to go back for a brother or sister for her some time in the near future 😉.
